Engineer in Training (Project Engineer)

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to execute high-quality, stage-gate-driven projects with precision, while also demonstrating effective financial oversight to ensure that Weetabix Capital funds are used wisely and in accordance with the business\\\\\\\’s strategic objectives and priorities. Deliver high-quality projects executed flawlessly 100% safety record with zero accidents across project delivery Adhere to CAPEX budgets with a view to both individual project budgets and overall department/ site/ company CAPEX budgets Ensure the complete delivery of the project scope while avoiding any scope creep. Forecast and update spend profiles, ensuring accurate financial planning and control Prepare and present Project approval presentations for review at up to MD level Engage with support functions such as Procurement and Legal to ensure robust procedures are followed Follow the Weetabix EEM process for all projects Recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) SMSTS, FAAW or IOSH) Competent with MS Office and standard Engineering applications Project Management Qualification, Prince 2, APM ETC.
