The recipe!

In this role, you'll be an important presence in our factories. As an EHS Advisor, you'll provide valuable expertise, coaching, and guidance to help us achieve our cluster's manufacturing environment, health and safety (EHS) strategy and standards. You'll play a key part in ensuring we comply with legal requirements, all while supporting our vision of having zero accidents and zero environmental incidents.

  • Implement the manufacturing EHS strategy and standards within the cluster
  • Ensure the internal audit program meets standards for achieving Green status
  • Support and coach factory teams in managing EHS processes and performance indicators
  • Provide EHS expertise for new projects and change management
  • Maintain the incident reporting system, assist in investigations, and drive corrective actions
  • Provide accurate EHS information for stakeholders to enhance EHS processes and standards
  • Deputise for the Cluster EHS Manager when necessary

Requirements

Non-negotiables:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of EHS delivery in a similar role
  • NEBOSH - General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Alignment to Weetabix values
  • Are always curious to finding new ways to do business!
  • Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in the food industry
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental technical standards
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and management systems methodology/tools
