About the Role

As a Line Chef at The Wave, you will work across all kitchen sections to produce menu items to a consistently high standard. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient service, strong food quality and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking menu items to spec and at pace
  • Working independently across kitchen sections
  • Managing prep levels and maintaining full menu availability
  • Following food safety, allergen and COSHH procedures
  • Contributing to KPIs through portion control and waste management

About You

You are passionate about food and committed to high standards. You thrive in busy services and take pride in producing quality dishes consistently.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • A desire to develop professional cookery skills

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Food Safety (preferred)
  • Experience working on multiple kitchen sections
