About the Role
As Chef Manager at The Wave, you will support the F&B Manager in leading a successful kitchen operation that delivers fantastic food, strong financial performance and exceptional guest experiences. You will lead, develop and inspire the kitchen team while ensuring food quality, compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading kitchen operations and running service
- Managing stock, ordering, wastage and GP through Procure Wizard
- Driving food quality, consistency and brand standards
- Coaching and developing Kitchen Assistants, Line Chefs and Team Leaders
- Championing food safety, allergen compliance and EHO standards
About You
You are an experienced kitchen leader who thrives under pressure. You combine strong operational discipline with a passion for food, people development and continuous improvement.
We’re Looking For
- Experience in a supervisory or management kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and food safety systems
- Experience managing stock, margins and KPIs
- A collaborative leadership style
- A passion for developing others
Qualifications
- Level 3 Food Safety (preferred)
- Experience leading EHO audits
- Strong working knowledge of kitchen management systems
