Join our management team at The Waterman's Arms, a vibrant Pub and Restaurant located by the river in Barnes. The Waterman's Arms has a creative and regularly evolving menu, using the best seasonal produce and showcasing a thoughtfully curated drinks list. We are looking for someone who is energised by this, and able to inspire enthusiasm and passion in the team. The ideal person for the job is someone who has a great eye for detail and who understands what great service is. The role will involve serving customers with a friendly but efficient style, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and organisation and opening and closing the venue. Overall we're looking for someone to make sure service runs smoothly and that everyone has a wonderful time!
Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating the team to deliver outstanding service.
- Overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the venue.
- Conducting daily service briefings and providing ongoing training on menu items, wines, and cocktails.
- Engaging with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborating closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Previous management experience is preferred but not essential.
