Reporting to the Miles-To-Go Retail Manager, the Barista is an essential member of our customer experience team, creating handcrafted beverages and providing warm, attentive service that reflects our store’s upscale and welcoming atmosphere.

This role works across both the Café and Smoothie Bar, preparing specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, and related offerings to the highest standards, while ensuring the service areas are inviting, organized, and always well‑stocked.

The Barista serves as both a skilled beverage maker and a customer ambassador, ensuring that every interaction leaves guests feeling cared for and appreciated.

  • Summary of Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a range of specialty coffee drinks including espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, and frappuccinos – as well as fresh smoothies, rotating between the Café and Smoothie Bar as needed.
  • Ensure all display cases are fully stocked, visually appealing, and reflective of the premium quality of our offerings.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization at the coffee bar, including fridges, floors, counters, machines, and equipment.
  • Deliver service that feels personal, polished, and genuine, ensuring customers feel cared for and appreciated.
  • Present beverages and food items with an eye for detail, elevating even the simplest order into a thoughtful experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs by offering suggestions, answering questions knowledgeably, and creating memorable moments that encourage repeat visits.
  • Embody the values of hospitality, attentiveness, and pride in presentation that define our store’s reputation.
  • Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
  • A polished, professional approach with a genuine enthusiasm for serving others.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
