Join a specialist water compliance team that protects public health, ensures safe operation of water systems, and helps clients meet their legal responsibilities. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer with strong practical experience working on cooling towers, water softeners and water hygiene monitoring.
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you’ll take ownership of planned preventive maintenance and remedial works across a range of customer sites, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274 Part 1 and 2, and relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting cooling tower inspections, system cleans, and full disinfections
- Carrying out temperature monitoring, water sampling, and closed system analysis
- Chemical dosing and calibration of controllers on evaporative cooling systems
- TMV servicing, calorifier inspections, and domestic water hygiene monitoring
- Producing detailed service reports and maintaining site logbooks
- Working safely in line with site permits, RAMS, and company procedures
