Irrigonics is an award-winning, nationwide water hygiene solutions provider. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our team in the Midlands and are seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor with the ability to support water hygiene monitoring when required.
This is a risk assessmentâled role. Water hygiene duties are a secondary capability to support operational delivery.
Role Overview
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing domestic water systems, identifying Legionella risk, and producing accurate, defensible risk assessment reports in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274. This is a safetyâcritical role requiring strong technical judgement, attention to detail, and the confidence to identify nonâcompliance.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments
- Strong working knowledge of HSG274 and ACOP L8
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments across a range of client premises
- Identify nonâcompliance and provide recommendations for remediation
- Prepare comprehensive assessment reports in line with industry guidelines
