Here at Watches of Switzerland Group we are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the Buying Team at our Head Office in Leicester. As an Assistant Buyer, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Buyer to drive commercial performance, shape compelling product ranges and bring exciting newness to the department. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your buying career in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment, developing your skills in trade analysis, negotiation, range planning, product development and cross‑functional collaboration.
About You
- Proven success at Buyers Admin or Assistant Buyer level, with the ambition to take the next step in your career.
- A strong eye for product, trend, and innovation.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities while staying organised and solutions‑focused.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to work within budgets while spotting opportunities for profitable growth.
- The ability to coach, motivate, and contribute to a high‑performing team culture.
- Experience helping to shape and plan retail ranges.
- Confidence preparing and presenting range and product proposals.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A good understanding of the market, customer, and competitors.
- A professional, positive approach and the ability to perform under pressure.
