We are looking for a passionate, food-loving Bakery and Brunch Chef with previous professional kitchen experience; someone with a passion for food, a keen eye for detail and someone who can follow recipes to the letter and prides themselves in producing the best quality product possible.
In joining our team, you will be responsible for the bakery set up and baking of our WatchHouse bakery offering, supporting food preparation, as well as full brunch service. You will be a key player in our team, working closely with our kitchen team to produce high-quality items that meet our standards.
Overview of the Role
- A passion for producing products to a high quality standard following the clear food and bakery specs and recipes.
- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of savoury and sweet products including sandwiches, wraps, baguettes & bagels, and bakery items.
- Support the kitchen team in daily tasks such as chopping, slicing, cooking and the daily preparation of fillings and sauces.
- Prepping brunch ingredients and helping with busy service.
- Cleaning extraction vents and deep cleaning, weekly cleaning tasks.
- A thinker and a doer, able to organise yourself and effectively also contribute positively to a growing business.
- Adhere to all hygiene rules and food handling best practices.
