What You’ll Do
As a Leisure Assistant – Lifeguard, you will:
- Lifeguard our indoor and/or outdoor swimming pools, ensuring the safety of all guests and responding to emergencies as required
- Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and upheld at all times
- Deliver engaging activity sessions, ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience
- Set up and pack away leisure equipment efficiently between activities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the leisure facilities, including pool areas
- Support guests with general enquiries and ensure they have a positive experience at our facilities
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a responsible, proactive team player who is passionate about guest safety and leisure activities. You’ll have:
- A Valid NPLQ Certificate (Essential)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests of all ages
- A positive, professional attitude with great teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to commute reliably on a regular basis to The Warren.
Desirable Skills
- Previous activity leadership experience (Desirable)
- GB Archery Award or similar activity coaching qualification (Desirable not essential)
