As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will:

  • Provide Excellent Wait Service: Take orders and deliver food and beverages to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Make Menu Recommendations: Answer questions and offer suggestions to enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Collaborate with team members to keep the shop and serving areas organised and spotless.
  • Handle Transactions: Operate the POS system accurately and process payments according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow safe food preparation, handling, storage, and sanitation practices, meeting all health and safety standards.
  • Create a Welcoming Environment: Greet all guests warmly, making them feel comfortable and valued.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Has prior experience in food and beverage service (a plus)
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Has good mathematical skills and is comfortable operating a POS system
  • Is detail-oriented with a strong focus on cleanliness and organisation
  • Can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Is flexible and reliable (available for a minimum of 12 hours per week during the season)
