Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role.

We're seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. Your main focus will be preventing theft and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security cameras
  • Maintain a visible presence on the shop-floor
  • Interact with customers and address their concerns
  • Upload events onto our crime reporting platform.

Hours of work are: Sunday - Monday 4:30pm - 9:00pm

Qualifications:

Experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial but is not required. Ideally, you will have good communication skills and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods. Additionally, experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure, would be beneficial.
