The Warehouse Group looks after some of Aotearoa's most famous and beloved retail brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming. They stay famous and beloved because they're always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to Kiwis, including a growing number of public good and sustainability initiatives.

Te kaupapa o te tūranga - The purpose of the role.

There are three open positions for this role and the hours of work are:

  • Position 1:
  • Position 2: Friday - Saturday - 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Position 3: Friday - 5:00pm - 9:00pm

As a critical member of our Gardening team, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and assisting customers with all their gardening needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Role requires an element of heavy lifting and moving plants to shelf from delivery at pace. Retail experience is preferred but optional - what we're looking for is someone with a genuine love for plants and gardening and a dedication to delivering outstanding service - take advantage of this opportunity to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our customers!

Qualifications: Having experience in a customer-facing role, such as retail or hospitality, would be beneficial, but it's not essential. Good communication skills are essential, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn is a must. Additionally, you should be comfortable standing for long periods.
