The Warehouse Group (TWG) is the home of iconic Kiwi retail brands like The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming. Our Distribution Centre (DC) is the hub that keeps our stores stocked and our customers happy. During peak season, this mission ramps up, and we’re expanding our racking crew to meet the demand.
As a Despatch Team Member, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-energy team responsible for processing and preparing outgoing stock for delivery to stores across Aotearoa. This role offers a lot of variety and requires a strong focus on accuracy, speed, and adaptability. You’ll be on your feet, moving stock, solving problems, and keeping things flowing from the DC to our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Stacking and prepping pallets (items ranging from 1kg to 30kg)
- Sorting stock by barcode and store
- Picking off our fast-paced conveyer belts
- Using RF scanners to track inventory movement
- Prime moving and pallet wrapping
- Closing, labelling, and preparing stock for despatch
- Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and strapping machines
- Bulk picking and stock consolidation
- Responding to last-minute changes and supporting the team where needed
This is a fixed term position until mid January 2027. Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm $30.28/hr. Please note: This role is to support our Peak Period through to January 2027. As it is our busiest time of the year, we are unlikely to be able to approve any extended leave across this time including around Christmas and New Years (Please note, we do not work public holidays).

- Have previous warehouse or distribution centre experience (a bonus but not required)
