To support the Neurology Divisional Team to :-
- Ensure the delivery of RTT performance.
- Validation of data on the iCS PAS Patient Administration System) to maintain and ensure the quality and content of data held.
- Input and process information in accordance with RTT procedures.
- Provide advice & guidance re patient pathways and RTT rules to all Trust employees.
Provide support and guidance around Data Quality
Main duties of the job
- Daily validation and correction of RTT clock stops to ensure correct data entry , comparing data provided by the information department against data input onto the PAS system.
- Daily validation and correction of patients added to all of the Trust waiting lists
- Validation & audit of referrals added to PAS ensuring correct data entry including IPTAMDS
- Validation of Performance prior to submission.
- Retrieve and review patient case notes/correspondence to ascertain correct patient pathway information. Removing and re-entering data as appropriate
- Provide advice and guidance to admin & clerical staff re patient pathways and RTT rules.
- Liaise with Satellite secretaries to obtain RTT data outcomes and input onto PAS.
- Run the following reports from PAS, validate and action as required:
Closed RTT Pathways
Open Pathways – Referral Closed
Admissions over a period
- Attend weekly Assurance Meeting
- Obtain IPTAMDS (Inter Provide Transfer Administrative Minimum Data Set) information form, from other providers as required.
- Participate in changes to working practice, system functionality, policies and procedures when required
- Software testing of new systems and functionalities as and when required.
- Support the Divisional team on an adhoc basis

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Daily validation and correction of RTT clock stops to ensure correct data entry , comparing data provided by the information department against data input onto the PAS system.

· Ensure that patient data is accurate, up-to date and inputted correctly on Trust systems.
· To identify where data is incorrect, identify the best method of correcting errors and preventing errors from re-occurring.
- Validation & audit of referrals added to PAS ensuring correct data entry including IPTAMDS
- Validation of Performance prior to submission.
