Job Summary

The Disney+ Marketing Strategy Manager will develop the EMEA brand and content marketing strategy for Disney+, acting as the gatekeeper of the regional marketing strategy. The role supports creation of a holistic brand strategy for Disney+ in EMEA, defining core brand KPIs and metrics, developing execution plans, and empowering the broader marketing team with strategic guidance.

The manager works closely with the Insights & Analytics team to ensure consumer insights guide Disney+’s strategic decisions, leads the brand measurement framework, and supports the Brand and Content Marketing teams to embed clear and connected strategy in every Disney+ campaign. The role also collaborates with Acquisition & Retention, EMEA market teams, and in‑house creative, agency, and media teams to align strategies and maintain brand consistency.

The position includes strong project management responsibilities, stakeholder engagement, and presentation of recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the continual development of Disney+ EMEA marketing strategy and collect inputs from across the region.
  • Own the full Disney+ EMEA marketing sync plan and collate weekly inputs from each market’s holistic annual plan.
  • Assist Disney+ EMEA quarterly and annual planning with insight‑driven recommendations in partnership with internal teams and the external media agency.
  • Build relationships with local Disney+ marketing teams, manage day‑to‑day communications, and serve as the go‑to contact for strategy and budget planning.
  • Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with EMEA strategy & planning teams at the media agency to develop comprehensive media strategies and pursue best‑in‑class media plans.
  • Lead the marketing measurement framework workstream, collate and review data inputs that inform all plans and activities alongside the internal analytics team and media agency.
  • Create presentations and reports for leadership, using data and insight to build simple narratives for C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Own and manage spend reporting tools and systems used to inform all Disney+ marketing reports on a weekly basis.
  • Project manage campaign planning milestone processes and other key marketing projects, seeking process efficiencies throughout.
  • Identify trends, challenges, or opportunities across upcoming marketing activities and translate them into actionable plans for the EMEA marketing teams.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager with key business milestones for marketing, including long‑range and annual operation planning.
  • Collaborate with all Disney+ marketing functions—campaign, research, analytics, performance, commercial planning, and finance—to bring teams together for optimal working.
  • Understand the direct competitive environment (TV, SVOD, theatrical, subscription services) and apply analysis and insights to gain competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Marketing strategy experience at a manager level or equivalent.
  • Experience developing C‑suite presentations and strategic recommendations based on data.
  • Budget management experience, comfortable with large budgets.
  • Experience working pan‑EMEA across multiple markets, understanding market context and cultural nuances.
  • Collaborative experience across teams with senior, junior, and peer stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet or similar tools.
  • Marketing content experience within the entertainment industry preferred.
  • Ability to process data and build a strategic recommendation informing narratives.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and building reports.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management ability to balance strategic thinking with project execution.
  • Ability to collaborate, motivate, and inspire teams internally and with external agencies.
