The Direct-to-Consumer Finance team are responsible for the financial management of Disney+ in EMEA available in 70 markets.

Responsibilities

  • Review and consolidate EMEA local content spend for financial planning cycles (Close, Forecast & Annual Operating plan)
  • Prepare US local content submissions
  • Business support for UK and regional acquisition and programming teams
  • Track global content slate and costs
  • Partner with the programming team to appraise the localisation strategy by analysing KPIs and return on investment
  • Finance representative in cross‑function process mapping
  • Develop close relationships with the wider EMEA Finance team, adopting a "one team" approach and building a network across lines of business, markets, Burbank and controllership to share resources and knowledge
  • Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the wider D+ finance and business teams

Qualifications

  • Experienced Finance Manager with a strong media background
  • ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data, preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision making
  • Experience in presentations will be useful
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in an equivalent role within the media sector is a big plus
  • Proficiency with financial IT systems, SAP/BW, Cognos Reporting and excellent proven Excel skills
