The Direct-to-Consumer Finance team are responsible for the financial management of Disney+ in EMEA available in 70 markets.
Responsibilities
- Review and consolidate EMEA local content spend for financial planning cycles (Close, Forecast & Annual Operating plan)
- Prepare US local content submissions
- Business support for UK and regional acquisition and programming teams
- Track global content slate and costs
- Partner with the programming team to appraise the localisation strategy by analysing KPIs and return on investment
- Finance representative in cross‑function process mapping
- Develop close relationships with the wider EMEA Finance team, adopting a "one team" approach and building a network across lines of business, markets, Burbank and controllership to share resources and knowledge
- Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the wider D+ finance and business teams
Qualifications
- Experienced Finance Manager with a strong media background
- ACA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent qualification
- Significant experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis
- Comfortable working with large volumes of data, preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision making
- Experience in presentations will be useful
- Attention to detail
- Experience in an equivalent role within the media sector is a big plus
- Proficiency with financial IT systems, SAP/BW, Cognos Reporting and excellent proven Excel skills
