Multi-Skilled Journalist

ABC11/WTVD, the ABC Owned Television station in Raleigh-Durham-Fayetteville, NC, has an immediate opening for a collaborative, ethical, and empathetic reporter who loves to dig and enterprise lead stories. This position is based in Fayetteville. We are looking for a self-starter and storyteller capable of working effectively with a diverse team to create compelling content across all platforms. Candidates must have a passion for uncovering and reporting facts with integrity. The multi-skilled journalist should be a dynamic communicator and strong leader, able to engage and connect authentically with a diverse audience. The role involves moving audiences between linear and digital platforms, participating in editorial decisions regarding story assignments, sourcing subjects, and developing community relationships to diversify voices in storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating impactful content through investigation and research, and be able to craft visually creative, memorable stories that provide context and perspective.
