Job Summary:
This position reports to the Manager, TWDC Store.
The ideal candidate will provide outstanding guest service, communicate effectively, generate sales, merchandise products, process deliveries, restock, maintain store visuals, organize storage, and support management by implementing retail and marketing strategies to grow the business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure guest service standards are met.
- Create weekly staff schedules and manage time-off requests, adjusting coverage for special projects and deliveries.
- Review staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with inventory purchasing and reordering based on trends and guest interest.
- Manage inventory levels, deliveries, invoices, loss prevention, and promotions.
- Oversee floor sets, ensuring displays meet visual standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, both on stage and backstage.
- Develop marketing tools to promote store services and ensure signage accuracy.
- Monitor sales trends and report activity to leadership weekly.
- Achieve financial and productivity goals through appropriate actions and guest service behaviors.
- Interact with guests/employees, resolving complaints or grievances.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of retail experience.
- High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (40 lbs or more) as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Experience handling merchandise and fixtures, including lifting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and observational skills for daily operations.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing strategies.
- Creativity and awareness of new trends.
- Experience with visual merchandising and displays.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Experience managing budgets and making sound business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the company, including customer service and staff management.
