Join the Studios UK Publicity team and help bring some of the world's most iconic entertainment to audiences across the UK. As a Publicist, you will support the delivery of imaginative and impactful publicity campaigns across theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios content. Working closely with Publicity Managers, cross‑functional teams and media partners, you'll play an important role in creating memorable campaigns, building strong industry relationships and ensuring our stories connect with audiences in meaningful ways. If selected for this role, you will report to the Publicity Manager. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Publicity Managers in developing and delivering industry‑leading publicity and communications campaigns across theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios branded content.
  • Help coordinate publicity activity across internal teams, media partners and The Walt Disney Company's wider lines of business to ensure campaigns are integrated, impactful and audience focused.
  • Work closely with US publicity and awards teams to support screenings, set visits, awards campaigns, UK press activity, talent schedules, media logistics, guest management and security processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including selected synergy partners across The Walt Disney Company.
  • Manage day‑to‑day communications planning, publicity calendars and media contact databases.
  • Ensure publicity assets and materials are localised, accurate, up to date and available through distribution platforms such as image.net and DMS.
  • Support media outreach, content rollouts, exclusives and pitching opportunities across print, broadcast, online and emerging media channels.
  • Act as a point of contact for media enquiries, responding efficiently and proactively to requests.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and changes across the media landscape, sharing insights that help shape campaign strategy.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Social Media and Influencer teams to identify and engage priority influencers, supporting screenings, events and content opportunities.
  • Support the planning and delivery of premieres, screenings and publicity events, helping create exceptional experiences while driving meaningful media and influencer coverage.
  • Assist with the guidance and day‑to‑day support of Publicity Interns, helping foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Produce campaign recaps and reports, evaluating publicity activity and communicating results to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working within film, entertainment, publicity, communications or a related creative industry environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience building effective working relationships across teams and functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced environment while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and identifying opportunities to enhance campaign performance.
  • Interest in media relations, publicity strategy, communications and audience engagement.
  • Ability to analyse information, monitor campaign performance and contribute insights and recommendations.
  • Passion for storytelling and helping connect audiences with compelling entertainment content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting theatrical film publicity campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the UK media landscape across print, broadcast, digital and social platforms.
  • Passion for film and the entertainment industry.
  • Experience supporting events, screenings or talent‑led publicity activity.
  • Familiarity with influencer engagement and social‑first communications strategies.
