Join The Walt Disney Company on a two-year Apprenticeship Programme where you will get the chance to work side-by-side with industry leaders while you study towards your apprenticeship qualification – Level 4 Market Research Apprentice.
Where you’ll work
This is an office-based apprenticeship with 4 days a week in our Hammersmith (London) office and 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
Who can apply?
You can apply if you:
- Have achieved, or are on track to achieve, two Cs or above at A Level (or equivalent)
- Have 5 GCSEs (grade 4–9) including Maths and English
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Can start in early September 2026

About the Apprenticeship
As a Market Research Apprentice, you will help us understand our consumers and what they love, turning insights into stories the business can use to make decisions. By submitting your application for this opportunity, you will be considered for a position in one of the following teams:
- Media Networks
- Brand & Franchise Management

You will support your team to deliver primary research projects (qualitative and quantitative), and present back your findings to a variety of teams, approaching your work in a way that reflects these values.

Media Networks
If you love TV, streaming, and keeping up with audience trends, the Media Networks Team could be your best fit. Join the team that builds an understanding of Disney’s TV channel audiences, such as Disney Channel, National Geographic, STAR, ESPN, across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
- Looking at what audiences are watching on TV, video and streaming by understanding audience data and viewership patterns.
- Assisting with survey set-up, collating feedback, and building reports to share actionable insights.
- Keeping up to date with the competitive environment and market landscape, particularly in areas that impact the kids, general entertainment, factual (documentaries), and sport viewing environment.
- Creating presentations which will be used to share research insights to the relevant teams such as programming and marketing.
Brand & Franchise Management
If you love Disney’s brands and franchises and are curious to dive deeper into how fans and families connect with them, a role in the Brand & Franchise Management Research Team would be an excellent opportunity for you.
You will support the Research Manager in the development, delivery, and analysis of research projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering insights on brand health and character engagement across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for our key brands: Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Pixar.
- Using historical and trending data to identify growth opportunities across the business including Marketing, Studios, Consumer Products, Disney+ and General Entertainment.
- Collaborating with our Marketing teams to understand campaign performance and help improve future activity.
- Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity, especially in areas influencing families, general entertainment, and the retail landscape.

The Selection Process & Key Dates
- Application deadline: Midnight on Thursday 5th March
- Online skills-based assessment: Once we have reviewed your application, you will be invited to complete a skills-based online assessment. You will have a week to complete this.
- Motivational Interview (20–30 mins via Teams): Taking place between mid-March and early April.
- Assessment Day (at our office in Hammersmith): Likely to take place in early April and will include an interview, an immersive job-relevant task and a collaborative group activity. The interview and assessment are designed to be friendly, supportive, and accessible for people with no prior experience.
- Offer & Onboarding: The Apprenticeship starts in early September.
