About the Role and Team
Reporting to the Manager – DTC Content Ops, this role is responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality, value-for-money TV and feature materials to Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer platforms, primarily Disney+. You will work across D+ EMEA Originals, EMEA Acquisitions, and Disney-branded content. You’ll have relevant experience in content production, localisation, mastering and digital distribution within the supply chain pipeline. Your ability to multi-task, manage a high volume of work, and remain calm under pressure, combined with strong customer focus and communication skills, will be critical to success in this role. Ideally, you’ll bring excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and strong organisational ability. You’ll also support the team through collaboration, participating in team and stakeholder meetings, and working cross-functionally across studio operations.
What You Will Do
- Raise accurate and timely orders to commission the creation and delivery of audio, video, artwork, and metadata for specific titles across multiple languages, ensuring creative consistency and cost control.
- Liaise with internal colleagues to ensure localised asset production schedules meet agreed delivery timelines.
- Work with third-party vendors and licensors to track and manage content delivery to Disney’s required technical specifications.
- Update and maintain records reflecting current material delivery status, flagging issues that may impact timelines.
- Track the completion of projects and materials using internal systems and reporting tools.
- Research Disney systems to identify available elements and request asset movements as required.
- Raise purchase/work orders, resolve vendor invoice queries, and support estimated forecasted costs (EFC) management.
- Action QC failures, rejections, and recall notifications and arrange updated or replacement materials.
- Ensure effective workflow and task management within agreed SLA timelines.
- Provide production schedules to vendors and participate in calls and onboarding processes.
- Contribute to workflow improvement by providing suggestions and feedback on systems and processes.
- Collaborate on specific projects designed to enhance efficiency and service delivery across teams.
Other General Activities
- Attend and contribute to team, vendor, and stakeholder meetings.
- Work cross-functionally within Studio Operations and with Global Disney stakeholders to align workflows.
- Support vendor billing resolution in collaboration with TWDC Accounts Payable.
- Stay informed on evolving digital media technology trends and studio tools.
- Participate in system testing and development feedback loops.
- Deliver colleague training and provide holiday/sick cover through the Buddy scheme.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships and ensure adherence to defined business processes and core Disney values.
- Continuously develop knowledge of the product slate, media formats, territories, and market dynamics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in TV/Non-Linear Distribution, Postproduction, or Digital Media Operations.
- Solid understanding of UHD and digital file-based technologies.
- Experience with mastering QC analysis and implementing corrective actions is advantageous.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Slack, Smartsheet, and Airtable.
- Knowledge of SAP is a significant plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to prioritise, maintain productivity under pressure, and adapt to change.
