About the role

This key role in the Disney+ commercial teamis responsible forthe profitable implementation of pricing strategies for Disney+ EMEA.

This strategic and hands-on rolerequires deepexpertisein priceriseimplementation,cohort management,and price and promotion strategyin a high-growth DTC subscription environment.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Friday).

What will you do

Reporting tothe Pricing, Promotion& Yield ManagementDirector of EMEA, this role will:

  • Lead thedevelopmentofprice implementation roadmapsacrossEMEAmarkets (.plan and manage price rollout calendarsand RACIfor implementation)

  • Supportstrategic planning and cross-functional execution of price increases, ensuring alignment across teams and successful delivery

  • Manage the ongoing monitoring of price changes, deliverprice performancereportsandidentifylearnings to feed into future implementations

  • Collaborate with Finance, Analyticsand Tradingon measuring price rise profitability acrosscustomercohorts, andfeeding these learnings into future strategies

  • Managecustomer baseandcohortanalysis toidentifycohorts formonetization andretention. Develop andmonitorstrategies,and feedfindingsinto future strategies and planning

  • Partner withdifferent teams to ensureavailability ofthe required insight and tools, developing a prioritized roadmap with:

  • Analytics for cohort analysis and price rise impact measurement/ monitoring

  • Consumer researchforprice,promotionand value-specific insights

  • BDand Analyticsto deepencompetitor priceandpromo intelligence

  • Finance for revenue, ARPU and LTV metrics

  • Inform the long-range plans todevelop anoptimized priceandpromotion strategy for EMEA markets, bringinga sophisticated data-driven approach that triangulates insights from multiple sources

  • Given the dynamic scope of Pricing, Promotion& YieldManagement, projects will often be complex, fluid, and involve multiple stakeholders. Success in this role requirescross-functional collaboration,an unwavering determinationto deliver,robust analytical skills with an interest inleveragingdata to solve problems, and presentation skills appropriate for executive discussions.

    The Manager willlead and develop a team of2 xAnalysts, fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring high-quality outputsthat inform strategic decisionsto drive profitability.

    What you need to bring

  • 6+ years of relevantexperience inpricing,promotion andyield managementwithindirect-to-consumerretail,techand/or ecommerceenvironments

  • Experience working cross-functionally to plan and orchestrate price implementation and cohortmonetisation & retention strategiesat scale across product, strategy, finance,dataand commercial teams

  • Advanced data skills including Excel modelling skills with ability to build financial/ subscription models, and tackle broader analytical analyses in Excel is critical

  • SQL experience and data visualisation with Looker,PowerBIand Tableauis a plus

  • Excellentcommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to craft compelling PowerPoint presentations that distilcomplex concepts into clear, structured outputs

  • Very strongwork ethic, ability tomulti-task,prioritize, and resolve an array of issues simultaneously

  • Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and with other business units

  • Demonstrabletrack recordof delivery and ability to support and execute projects to an extremely high standard and totightdeadlines

  • Experience working infast moving environments. Capable of workingon different projects in parallel, and of being agile around changing needs whilst meeting project deadlines

  • What you need to know

  • Advanced knowledge ofcohort analysis,ideally in a high-growth DTC subscription business or consumer techbusinesswith a role focused on retention

  • Advanced knowledge of modelling price and promotion scenarios for subscription businesses

  • Advanced knowledge ofprice rise implementation in aDTC subscription business, and how tomonitorand measure the impacts

  • Knowledge ofapproach to define price and promotion strategy, key inputs requiredand how to use these inputs to business casestrategiesis a strong plus

  • Knowledge and understanding of subscription / DTC KPIs, and growth levers
