Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week; Monday – Friday 09:00‑17:00 with some flexibility.
Contract: Fixed‑term until 31 March 2027 with potential to become permanent.
Location: Hybrid with occasional travel to a Wallich Hub or external venue.

Purpose of Role: The Rent & Service Charge Analyst ensures that rents and service charges set for supported accommodation accurately reflect true costs and comply with Housing Benefit regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Rent and Service Charge Setting: Analyse and calculate the full cost of providing supported accommodation on a property‑by‑property basis. Ensure all eligible costs are appropriately captured. Allocate shared and overhead costs accurately and transparently. Review and update rent levels annually or as required.
- Cost Analysis & Modelling: Analyse utility costs (gas, electricity, water, broadband, etc.). Assess staffing costs, including support staff, management and on‑call provision. Calculate costs relating to furnishing, voids, repairs, maintenance, compliance and management. Develop and maintain cost models and assumptions to support rent setting. Correspond with partner landlords to obtain and verify rent and service charge details.
- Supporting the Finance Business Partner: Assist budgets and forecasts for planned and reactive maintenance and capital spend. Support Residential Services managers in reviewing variances against budget. Prepare and post journals, adjustments and corrections as authorised. Work with the Development Team to identify capital expenditure within repairs and maintenance spend.
- Data Management, Reporting and Collaboration: Maintain accurate financial and property‑related records in Inform (Salesforce), the Property Register, and finance systems.
