The Practice Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to the registered patient population, working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team. The post holder will support the practice in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care within their professional scope of practice, undertaking clinical assessments, providing treatment, and promoting health and wellbeing in line with practice policies and protocols.
Main duties of the job:
- Working both independently and collaboratively with GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Carrying out a wide range of clinical duties including immunisations, travel health advice, venepuncture, blood pressure monitoring, wound care, cervical screening, spirometry, ECGs.
