The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

To provide general administrative and clerical support to the practice/office team, assisting with routine tasks to ensure smooth office operations and contribute to a positive working environment. The role will be based in a GP Practice offering GMS Primary Care Services to a 23,000 patient population.

Main duties of the job:

  • Assist with daily administrative tasks such as filing notes, photocopying, scanning and document preparation.
  • Assisting the administration team with opening and sending post, deductions and patient registrations.
  • To assist the team with reports and maintaining an adequate filing system.
  • Managing deliveries to the practice and putting stock away.
  • To maintain the condition of the stock rooms and network room.
  • To complete duties that may require attendance to the post office, bank and other establishments as needed (within walking vicinity).
  • Ensure the office is tidy and compliant with health and safety.
  • To maintain a register of staff birthdays, leaving, events (i.e. Births and marriages) and to organise appropriate gifts with the Senior Leadership Team, including completing of cards and communication channel alerts.
  • To print appropriate posters and to maintain a register of what needs to be in each area, auditing this on a monthly basis for seasonal updates, condition and regular changes.
  • To support room stocking for clinical areas, with appropriate training provided.
  • Assist with any data entry that is required.
  • Support all teams with ad hoc errands and tasks that improve workflow.
  • To support internal communications and document delivery within the organisation.

Experience: Previous experience of working in an office or administrative environment.
