The Walcot Group is a collection of independent restaurants and hospitality businesses founded in the West Country with locations in Bath, Frome, Corsham, Bristol and Cardiff. With more growth on the horizon we’re seeking an ambitious Operations Manager with proven multi-site experience to join our team. They will be accountable for driving performance and standards across our multiple venues.

Working alongside the Head Office Team, they will ensure each venue meets its commercial, service, and operational objectives, while maintaining the group’s culture of excellence and hospitality. This role is a true Ambassador for the Walcot Brand, setting and maintaining the Groups standards of excellence day to day.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working with the Head Office Team across sites;
  • Overseeing site operations: Leading all operational departments on site, including front and back of house, and ensuring the successful execution of daily tasks.
  • Financial management: Working with the GM and the Finance Team to set and manage budgets, P&L reporting, and sales to meet financial goals.
  • Staff management: Inspiring, developing, and holding staff accountable, including working closely with the Head of People & Culture in setting training programs and working on succession planning.
  • Guest experience: Working with Head Office & Executive Chef team, ensure high standards of product, service, customer satisfaction, and a seamless guest journey.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety standards and regulations.

About You...

  • 3+ years proven multi-site management experience within premium restaurants or a hospitality group an advantage but not a deal breaker.
  • Flexible, resilient, and highly organised, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and implement improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • A passion for hospitality, guest experience, and operational excellence. This role leads by example - setting the standards and maintaining them.
  • Proficiency with Polaris, Tevalis, Alert65, Seven Rooms, CPL or similar Hospitality tech.
  • Experience of a Founder led business or start up a bonus.
  • Pre-opening experience within a high end innovative restaurant group or multi site environment an advantage.
