About The Walcot Group

The Walcot Group is a dynamic and growing collection of hospitality and food businesses based in Bath and the Southwest.

Our venues include:

  • Walcot House – Bath
  • Little Walcot – Frome
  • Solina – Bath (with a new Bristol location opening soon)
  • Mother & Wild – Corsham
  • The White Hart – Opening soon in Bath

We pride ourselves on creating thoughtful, community-driven experiences across restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail. From artisan pasta and modern British dining to small-batch butchery, we’re building something special—ambitious, independent, and full of personality.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Executive Assistant to join our fast-paced, ambitious company. You’ll work closely with the Directors and leadership team, providing essential support to help the business operate smoothly and grow efficiently. This is not your traditional EA role, you will act as an extension of the MD being required to execute and operate their work flow.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, has a natural ability to stay ahead of the curve, and enjoys working in a creative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level executive support: calendar management, meeting coordination, and diary organisation.
  • Manage inboxes and communications: prioritise messages, draft responses, and handle follow-ups.
  • Pick up tasks and workflow delegated by the Directors, ensuring they are actioned efficiently and followed through.
  • Attend high-level meetings, take minutes, and issue follow-up actions on behalf of the Directors.
  • Prepare documentation: reports, board decks, presentations, spreadsheets—accurate and well-presented.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for team members, partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in special projects, including new venue launches and business development.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant or senior-level admin role.
  • Impeccable organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A self-starter with strong initiative, able to manage multiple priorities calmly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment—quick to adapt and ready to contribute.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, events, or creative industries.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or light finance support.
  • A genuine passion for food, drink, and the independent hospitality scene.

What We Offer

  • Full-time, 5 days a week
  • 50% off at all of our venues
  • Discounted gym membership at Marchon, Bath
  • Based at our HQ on Walcot Street in Bath, with occasional travel to other venues
  • The chance to grow with an ambitious, independent company
  • A collaborative, hands-on team that values trust, creativity, and excellence
