About Us: Green Street is the home of butchers, bakers, and sandwich makers. We serve butcher-quality meat in baker-quality bread, delivered quickly with a friendly neighbourhood feel. Green Street Butchers is looking for a dedicated, service-driven individual to join our team in Bristol. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about quality food, excellent customer service, and maintaining exceptionally high standards.

The Role:

  • Cooking & Food Preparation
    • Preparing and roasting meats to Green Street standards for breakfast and lunch service
    • Supporting light butchery tasks when required
    • Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation across all food items
    • Assisting with sandwich preparation and hot food service
  • Customer Experience & Service
    • Acting as a brand ambassador for Green Street in every customer interaction
    • Running the hot food section with confidence and efficiency
    • Preparing high-quality coffee and delivering excellent service standards
    • Processing customer orders accurately and managing expectations around wait times
    • Handling customer feedback professionally and positively
  • Operational Standards
    • Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient working environment
    • Following food safety, hygiene, and compliance procedures at all times
    • Completing dishwasher rotation and deep-clean schedules
    • Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture
