Walcot Group is a family of restaurants — Walcot House, Solina, Mother & Wild, Little Walcot and more. Each with its own flavour, all with the same goal: great food, great drink, great hospitality.
You might be serving flat whites, pouring wine for a long lunch, or carrying a round of pints. Whatever the day looks like, you’ll be part of a team that knows how to make guests feel welcome and at home.
The Duty Manager works with the General Manager and helps oversee the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring profitability, consistent service quality, food safety, team performance, and guest satisfaction. The Duty Manager works with the General Manager to set standard for the entire team and ensures the business runs smoothly day-to-day and long term.
What we’re after:
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations and assist with long-term planning.
- Manage and support all Supervisors, the front of house team and liaise with General Manager
- Ensure consistent quality of food, service, and guest experience.
- Drive sales, profitability, and cost control.
- Handle training, scheduling, and staff development.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and licensing regulations.
- Manage stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships.
- Act as the main point of contact between junior staff to liaise with when the GM is not on site
- Protect the restaurant’s reputation and foster a positive team culture,
