About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Caterer to join the catering team at a prestigious private school in Exeter. This part-time role involves supporting the kitchen in providing high-quality meals for students and staff. The contract will run for a minimum of 5 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation and ensure timely meal service.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including washing up and cleaning duties.
- Help with setting up and clearing away dining areas.
- Support the catering team in delivering a professional service at all times.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 3 years (essential).
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen porter role (desirable but not essential).
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability to maintain the high standards expected.
