- - Supervise dogs in a safe and caring day-care environment.
- - Monitor dogs' behaviour, interactions, health, and wellbeing throughout the day.
- - Provide food, fresh water, treats, and medication where authorised.
- - Organise and supervise play, exercise, rest, and enrichment activities.
- - Clean and maintain play areas, bedding, bowls, toys, and other equipment.
- - Follow individual care instructions and maintain accurate records.
- - Manage groups of dogs safely and identify signs of stress, illness, injury, or unusual behaviour.
- - Assist with the safe arrival and collection of dogs and communicate professionally with owners.
- - Follow health, safety, hygiene, and animal welfare procedures.
- - Support colleagues with general day-to-day running of the facility.
- - Collect and return dogs safely to and from their homes.
- - Provide individual or group walks according to each dog's needs and agreed requirements.
- - Ensure dogs are supervised and kept safe throughout walks.
- - Use appropriate leads, harnesses, and other equipment correctly.
- - Provide exercise, stimulation, and positive interaction during walks.
- - Monitor dogs for changes in behaviour, health, or wellbeing and report any concerns.
- - Follow owners' instructions regarding feeding, toileting, medication, and handling where required.
- - Maintain cleanliness by disposing of dog waste responsibly.
- - Communicate professionally with owners regarding their dog's care and behaviour.
