We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate Dog Daycare Manager to join our team. This role is key to the daily operations of the daycare and requires someone who can lead by example, foster positive relationships with staff and clients, and ensure that the highest standards of animal care are maintained., * Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of daycare staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the well-being of dogs and the success of the daycare.

Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with dog owners, ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication regarding their pets’ needs, behaviour, and progress.

Staff Management: Oversee scheduling, performance reviews, staff development, and ensure staff are trained and compliant with all safety and care standards.

Animal Care Oversight: Ensure all dogs are cared for in accordance with our animal welfare policies, managing their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day. This includes monitoring group play, meal times, and nap schedules.

Facility Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the daycare, including ensuring cleanliness and organization of the facility, managing inventory, and reporting maintenance needs.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all staff are adhering to health and safety guidelines, including supervising dog interactions, managing dog behavior, and overseeing any first aid needs or emergencies.

Customer Service & Communication: Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and keeping owners informed about their dogs’ progress or behavior.

Marketing and Growth: Assist with promotional efforts to attract new clients, increase daycare bookings, and build a positive reputation within the local community.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in managing a team, preferably within a daycare, pet care, or related environment.

Animal Care Level 2 Qualification: A recognised Animal Care qualification (Level 2 or equivalent) is required.

Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, manage, and inspire a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Client-Focused: Demonstrated experience in building strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional service.

Animal Behavior Knowledge: Understanding of dog behavior, including the ability to assess and manage different breeds, temperaments, and group dynamics.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, including managing dog conflicts, staff issues, or customer concerns.
