We are seeking an experienced and talented Area Head Chef to join our senior management team. As the Area Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food production, menu planning, and team management in multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a strong background in the hospitality industry.
We are offering a competitive package of up to £60,000.00 per year inclusive of quarterly KPI incentives.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for multiple locations & new openings
- Plan and develop menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Create and plan new specials that will entice repeat visits
- Oversee food production and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with site head chefs and management to develop new recipes and improve existing ones
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings
- Maintain a positive working relationship with suppliers and vendors
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as an Area Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and recipe development
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
