We are recruiting experienced Retail Site Managers to deliver fast-track Sainsbury's fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK for leading principal contractors. This role is ideal for Site Managers with proven Sainsbury's store experience, confident running live retail environments and managing projects from strip-out through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Full on-site management of Sainsbury's retail fit-out projects
- Managing subcontractors, direct labour, and site logistics
- Delivering projects to tight retail programmes and brand standards
- Health & Safety management (RAMS, toolbox talks, inductions)
- Liaising with Project Managers, Clients, and Store Teams
- Quality control, snagging, and handover on live retail sites
- Managing works in live trading environments
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Retail Site Manager on Sainsbury's projects
- Strong background in retail fit-out / retail refurbishment
- Experience working on live retail environments
- SMSTS
- CSCS Card (Black preferred)
- First Aid
- Willingness to work nationwide and stay away as required
Desirable Experience
- Fast-track retail programmes
- High-street or supermarket fit-out
- Principal contractor background
