Vita Coco is the leading coconut water brand in the world, built on a simple idea: bring better-for-you, natural hydration to more people. Since starting in 2004, we’ve grown into a global business with teams in New York, London, and Singapore, and we’re now publicly traded on NASDAQ under COCO. As a Public Benefit Corporation and Certified B Corp, we’re committed to supporting farming communities, sourcing responsibly, and building products that are better for people and the planet. We move fast, stay scrappy, and care deeply about doing the right thing. We’re now looking for someone who’s excited to join a growing, purpose-driven company and help shape what comes next.

Our Values:

  • Human First: We lead with inclusivity, transparency, and empathy.
  • Nothing is Impossible: We experiment, learn, and keep moving forward.
  • United by Our Will to Win: We stay aligned, work collaboratively, and push toward shared goals.
  • Part of Something Bigger: We’re committed to uplifting the communities we’re connected to locally and globally.

This role is a full-time role for 12 months – starting September 2026.

IN A NUTSHELL, YOU WILL BE...

AN IDEA GENERATOR

You’ll be expected to bring ideas, energy and a strong instinct for what works on social. That means thinking about:

  • What new TikTok or Reels series should we launch?
  • How can we use social to educate people on our products while building the lifestyle and culture around Vita Coco?
  • How can we tap into humour, trends or consumer truths in a way that feels like Vita Coco?
  • How can we show up in a fun, social-first way at our many brand activations across the UK&I?
  • Who could we interview, feature or collaborate with that our audience would actually care about?
  • How can we use creators, employees, the content team and yourself to make content people want to watch and join in with?
  • Which influencers could help bring key brand moments to life?
  • Which UGC creators are right for each paid social brief?

AN IDEA EXECUTER

With support from the Digital Team, you’ll help capture low-fi, entertaining and platform-first content in ways that feel fresh, scrappy and social-native. This could include:

  • Shooting at “The Hydration Station”, aka our London HQ – understanding social hooks, how to edit in a social first way, and getting content out consistently + at pace.
  • Organising your own low-cost shoots, from props and planning, to getting people involved, to getting things live.
  • Capturing content at events, activations and on-the-ground moments across the UK&I.
  • Sourcing new influencers to add to our PR mailing lists.
  • Working with our team to capture organic-feeling content at social shoots.
  • Creating and formatting new content franchises that our audiences can start to recognise and look forward to.
  • Helping set the bar for meaningful, funny, entertaining social content.
  • Managing inbound comments, DMs and story mentions across TikTok and Instagram.
  • Managing conversations and negotiations with influencers & UGC creators, with support from the Digital Team.
  • Jumping into relevant comment sections and viral conversations to put Vita Coco naturally into the mix.

AN IDEA EXPLAINER

You’ll help show the wider business why social matters. With support from the Digital Team, you’ll take social data, audience reactions and content performance, then help turn them into clear monthly updates on what’s working, what we’ve learned and where the next opportunity is. The job description is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to support other projects in line with your skills and the changing needs of the business.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Obsessed with internet trends, creators and culture.
  • Knows how to turn an idea into social-first content using an iPhone or camera.
  • Comfortable editing content quickly and spotting what makes a video work.
  • Results-driven, with an interest in building engaged social communities.
  • Believes in the power of long-term brand-building, not just quick wins.
  • Confident behind the camera, and happy to appear in content when needed.
  • Comfortable getting others involved on camera, from colleagues and consumers to athletes, chefs, creators and event guests.
  • Organised, proactive and happy to travel around the UK&I.
  • Doesn’t want to sit at a desk all day 😊
