Location: Richmond, Surrey

Salary: £10,262 - £10,560 per annum (pro‑rate to £30,717 - £31,611; Grade 4)

Contract: Fixed term, part time, 14 hours per week during term time plus one week, 39 weeks per year; flexible hours but preferably over 2 or 3 working days.

We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to provide financial support to the school. The Vineyard is a highly popular and successful primary school located at the top of Richmond Hill, hidden away, a short distance from the river and Richmond Park, and benefits from an unusually secluded and rural environment.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide financial support to the school, including bookkeeping, invoicing and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in the Access financial system.
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Support the finance team in reaching tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working within financial regulations is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Access financial system is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
