Multi Award Winning, The Vincent Hotel and Spa located in Southport are recruiting for an Executive Housekeeping Manager (10 months Maternity cover).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the rooms and the public areas are cleaned to the highest level.
- Manage the housekeeping team.
- Meet and greet the guests.
- Oversee the stock management.
The successful Executive Housekeeping Manager candidate will have:
- Previous experience in luxury private residential buildings.
- Experience in luxury hotels would be a benefit.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience in managing a housekeeping team.
- Effective team leader.
- Someone who is well organised and willing to go the extra mile.
- 5 years experience working in the UK.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Provide training and development for housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain records related to housekeeping operations, including staff schedules, supply usage, and inspection reports.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
