Multi Award Winning, The Vincent Hotel and Spa located in Southport are recruiting for an Executive Housekeeping Manager (10 months Maternity cover).

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the rooms and the public areas are cleaned to the highest level.
  • Manage the housekeeping team.
  • Meet and greet the guests.
  • Oversee the stock management.

The successful Executive Housekeeping Manager candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in luxury private residential buildings.
  • Experience in luxury hotels would be a benefit.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Experience in managing a housekeeping team.
  • Effective team leader.
  • Someone who is well organised and willing to go the extra mile.
  • 5 years experience working in the UK.

Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established protocols.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Provide training and development for housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain records related to housekeeping operations, including staff schedules, supply usage, and inspection reports.

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hotel or hospitality industry is highly desirable.
