Position: Dishwasher
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for washing and unloading dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.
Required Experience
- Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
- Good communication skills are required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items; comply with all applicable health and safety codes.
- Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
- Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures.
- Scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
- Promote positive relations with residents, family members, and guests.
Working Conditions
This position requires standing for long periods. Employees must communicate effectively, sit, stand, walk, and handle equipment and objects. Occasionally, reaching with hands and arms is required. Employees may need to lift/move up to 25 pounds. The environment involves moderate noise levels and appropriate interaction with others.
