Experienced Pub Manager / Shift Supervisor Wanted

Are you a confident, friendly Shift Supervisor or Manager who knows their way around a busy pub and genuinely loves great food, good beer, and great people? If so, we\’d love to meet you.

We\’re looking for an experienced, reliable leader to join the team at The Village Swan – a much-loved village pub at the heart of the Ivinghoe Aston community. This role is key to helping us continue delivering the warm, welcoming atmosphere our locals know and love… and to allow us, as owners, to finally take a well-earned break knowing the pub is in safe hands.

You\’ll be responsible for running shifts smoothly, delivering excellent service, supporting the team, and creating a relaxed, friendly environment for our guests. From serving food and drinks to leading by example on the floor, this is a hands-on role in a fast-paced setting, so previous management or supervisory experience in a busy pub or restaurant is essential. Applicants must also be able to serve alcohol without restriction.

Shifts available are mainly weekends, but more importantly – occasional open and close shifts for holiday cover from 1 to 5 days at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

• Pub Managerial: 1 year (required)
• Restaurant: 3 years (required)
