We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced person to join our friendly but busy reception team to assist the Management team with maintaining patient services within the Practice. Also, to manage the reception team in their day to day duties.
The position would be working 30 hours a week to include working on a Friday., The purpose of the role is to:
Provide and coordinate an efficient and confidential administrative support service to the Practice Manager.
To Lead in supporting patients by helping people to manage their needs through answering queries and ensuring that people have good quality written or verbal information to help them make choices about their care.
The individual will need to be a highly motivated and strong team worker who is able to work with initiative and minimal supervision with the ability to produce work to a high standard within tight deadlines.
The role will entail leading on specific projects as well as overseeing our reception team in a supervisory and supportive way, working closely with the Practice Manager to achieve key objectives.
The person we are looking for needs to be flexible, accurate, a problem solver, organised, proactive and supportive and be able to work autonomously or within a team and preferably have leadership experience. A good knowledge of TPP SystmOne would be advantageous.
This position would suit someone already working in a similar role or possibly an individual with solid experience in an administrative/receptionist role in Primary Care who wishes to take their first step towards Practice Management.
The Village Surgery is based in Talbot Village. It looks after around 8kK patients, including a large student population.
