Come and be part of our Ambitious and Inclusive school! Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students within our new Specialist Resource Provision, which is a dedicated provision specifically for students with an EHCP who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. The Victory Harbour is fully part of The Victory Academy which welcomed our first cohort of students in September 2025.

The Victory Harbour Vision: To be an integral part of our school and a centre of excellence for children with SEMH and children who, with support, can access opportunities in mainstream education.

What we are looking for:

  • HLTA qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
  • Passion for inclusive education and the ability to support all learners.
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
