Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse, The Veterinary Hospital, Gorleston

Fixed‐Term Contract Until April 2027 | Out-of‐Hours RVN | Free On‐Site Accommodation When On Shift

Salary: Up to ÂŁ41,600 FTE

Shift Pattern: 1 week on / 11 weeks off / 1 week on / 9 weeks off (22‐week cycle, 7pm-8am)

The Veterinary Hospital, Gorleston is a busy small‐animal practice with a passionate team of vets, RVNs, PCAs, and receptionists. Our well‐equipped hospital supports a high caseload, providing an excellent environment for someone with an ECC bias who thrives in an out‐of‐hours setting.

About You

  • We're looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Gorleston OOH team. In this role, no two nights will be the same.
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional care to our patients and their owners.
  • Work confidently in sole charge, including triaging calls, answering phones, monitoring anaesthetics, and providing stabilisation and nursing care for emergency and critical cases.
  • Use your ECC interest and experience to make a real impact during out‐of‐hours shifts.
  • Support the outcome of patient care in all aspects of clinical work.
  • Maintain high‐quality standards in our hospital environment.
  • Learn, develop, and grow with us, taking advantage of CPD opportunities—including funded and supported ECC training.
