We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable Veterinary Surgeon to become a key member of our surgery’s team. We are after a Vet who is already a surgical cert holder, or someone with 3 years+ GP experience and a strong surgical bias. You will be responsible for delivering preventive services, treating sick and injured pets and be able to demonstrate a real passion for promoting pet wellbeing. You will be an excellent communicator and a real team player, integrating well with our wider clinical and non-clinical team members.

A little more about us at The Vet Nottingham: You will get to work in our purpose-built, spacious veterinary practice with the most fantastic facilities and a team who are all passionate about providing the very best care to all animals, day and night. In our team, we currently have 6 RVNs and 4 Veterinary Surgeons. We pride ourselves on the training and support we offer to students and we’re delighted to say previous students have joined us on a permanent basis once qualified. We’re constantly working on new initiatives to support skill gaps and we make sure CPD is continuous and happening across all levels in our surgery. Our colleagues have a broad range of specialities and many of our team are working towards certificates to enhance their clinical skills and the services we’re able to provide. We currently have 3 Vets studying towards certificates in ophthalmology, internal medicine and surgery. Our nursing team are friendly and knowledgeable, with a good mix of qualifying years between them. We’re supported by a strong reception team of 5.
