Our client is seeking a confident and capable Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established coastal practice on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment where patient care, teamwork, and professional development are strongly prioritised. The position is well suited to a GP vet who enjoys autonomy, varied caseloads, and the ability to make independent clinical decisions.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced veterinary and nursing team, managing a broad range of medical and surgical cases across two nearby sites. This role provides an excellent balance of hands-on clinical responsibility and supportive teamwork, allowing the clinician to further refine surgical skills while enjoying a sustainable and rewarding working pattern.

- Work alongside an experienced veterinary and nursing team to support patient care and outcomes.
- Provide autonomous clinical decision making when appropriate, while contributing to a collaborative practice environment.
- RCVS registration or eligibility to register as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK
- Confidence managing consultations and routine surgical procedures
- Ability to work sole charge when required
