Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, progressive first opinion practice in Whitstable. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality veterinary care using modern equipment and facilities.
This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing a varied caseload and enjoys working in a positive, community-focused environment. You will be supported by an ECC‑qualified Head Vet and a skilled team, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while maintaining a strong work‑life balance.
Responsibilities- Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals
- Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic workups
- Carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England
- Experience in small animal practice preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care
- Salary up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience
- Full‑time position (40 hours per week)
- Modern, well‑equipped practice including ultrasound, endoscopy, dental suite, and digital X‑ray
