Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Vet Surgeon to join their Weekend ECC team at a state-of-the-art 24-hour hospital in Worsley. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly advanced clinical environment, managing a varied emergency caseload alongside a large and experienced multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for a veterinarian looking to gain or expand experience in emergency and critical care. You will be supported by certificate holders and a highly skilled nursing team, with access to advanced diagnostics and continuous clinical support, enabling you to deliver high standards of patient care.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency and critical care cases during weekend shifts
- Providing triage, diagnostics, and treatment for small animal patients
- Performing routine surgical procedures as required
- Collaborating with a large team of veterinary surgeons and nurses
- Ensuring excellent client communication and patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England
- Experience in small animal practice required
- ECC experience desirable but not essential
- Confidence in consultations and basic surgical procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
