Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon for a permanent position divided between two well-equipped branch clinics. Working four days each week, the successful applicant will manage a varied caseload, develop lasting client relationships and retain responsibility for working up their own medical and surgical cases.

This opportunity offers the independence of branch-based practice alongside access to advanced hospital facilities and experienced certificate holders when complex, emergency or hospitalised cases require additional input. Applicants should be comfortable with routine consultations, general surgery and occasional sole-charge work, while flexible or part-time arrangements may also be considered. This position also includes two working days per week in Portslade, near Brighton.

Package:

  • Only one Saturday shift required every four weeks
  • 6.6 weeks of paid annual leave including bank holidays
  • Annual CPD allowance of £1,750 with training support
  • RCVS membership plus two additional subscriptions funded
