Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a highly experienced hospital-based team in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire. This opportunity is suited to a confident small animal clinician who enjoys routine veterinary work, values access to advanced facilities, and would welcome the chance to develop within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment.
The role offers a varied caseload within a busy first opinion and referral-style setting, with access to certificate holders across surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, dermatology, imaging, and endoscopy. A medical bias would be welcomed, and support for a certificate is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Managing small animal consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine procedures
- Supporting medical and surgical cases across a varied hospital caseload
- Working collaboratively with certificate holders, nurses, and support colleagues
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment to support thorough clinical decision-making
- Contributing to a team-led approach focused on patient care and professional development
